The Functional Genomics of Arabidopsis Group develops transcription profiling methods with microarrays for functional genomics. One of the major challenges of plant genomics is to elucidate the functions of the 28000 annotated Arabidopsis genes, including the Eugène predicted genes and new putative microRNAs. Transcript profiling is a powerful approach to understand the functional networks which drive plant development.
